This figure presents the Thrall in his most vulnerable state: exhausted, clothes torn and posture bent under the weight of an existence in service to the vampires. This is not a combat figure; it is a reminder of what the Doom Court does to its servants.
From a sculpting standpoint Thrall 05 shines in the details of damaged fabric, the bodily tension of submission and the expressiveness of the face. It is one of the most narrative figures in the entire collection, and a very rewarding challenge for painters who enjoy working battered skin, dirty fabrics and weathering and aging effects.
