Catcher 02

The Catcher 02 of The Vampiric Doom Court takes the concept of a dynamic figure to the extreme. This piece is practically a sculpture: a vampiric figure emerging from a whirlwind of bats and wings in full flight, creating an ensemble of great formal complexity that impresses both assembled and painted.

The with bats version is the most complex piece on the entire team in terms of sculpt: the central figure is partially integrated into the winged mass, generating an effect of uncontrolled energy that on the table communicates exactly what a vampiric Catcher should inspire in the opponent. The without bats version reveals the elegance of the original pose, more athletic and approachable for painters who want to work volume with greater clarity.
